Millions by Frank Cottrell Boyse

Damian only wants to do what's right, so when a big bag full of money seems to fall right out of the sky onto his cardboard box hideout, he starts looking for ways to use it to help others. His brother, Anthony, has other ideas and soon all the kids at school are selling their toys and renting their bikes to Anthony and Damian. But time is running out--British pounds, in this story, will be traded in for Euros soon, and the boys have to spend as much as they can. I loved the movie, but the book (as always) is even better--funny in that dry British way, with great characters and no easy answers. What would you do with millions?
