I love all the Casson family books by Hilary McKay, but Indigo's Star is my favorite of the series. The first one is Saffy's Angel. Not only is The Spatulatta Cookbook a great cookbook for kids, but you will love the humor of the Isabella and Olivia, the sisters who wrote the book and have their own cooking website.
